PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES



    PEO-1:
    Express his/her technical knowledge and skills in their career and apply systems perspective, design, analyze, develop, and implement complex mechanical structure
    PEO-2:
    Contributeto the industrial needs as per current developments, societal expectation and necessity of government by applying the engineering skills and knowledge acquired through their engineering studies
    PEO-3:
    Have the ability to recognize the importance of professional development by pursuing higher studies in various specializations and through competitive examinations

    PSO1:
    Apply the knowledge of Industrial Standards to design and analyze the Mechanical Machine elements in various fields using modern computer tools
    PSO2:
    Have Ability to implement Modern Manufacturing Techniques for the production of Various Mechanical components
    PSO3:
    Apply the knowledge acquired in the field of Thermal Engineering to solve engineering Problems and practical difficulties to related to thermal equipment and to enhance their Performance

  • Mr. J.Abdullah, Chief Technical Officer, Cad Solution, Coimbatore conducted one day webinar on “Insights on Industry 4.0”.
  • Er.V.N.Srinivasan, Technology Specialist, Part of Center of Excellence Team, CTS, Pune conducted one day webinar on “Career Discovery”.
  • Mr.S.Kiruba, M.S(PD),B.Tech.(Mech), Senior Design Engineer, General Electrical Company, GE Health Care, Bangalore conducted one day webinar on “Design Thinking and AI Medical Equipment Design”.
  • Mr.T.Valeeth, Manager, Kalam Academy Of Research Foundation, Chennai conducted one day Workshop on “Electric Vehicle Technology”.
  • Dr.R.ViswanathanProfessor & Vice principal published 4 papers in International Journals and 2 papers presented in International conferences.
  • Dr.R.Viswanathan Professor & Vice principal is recognized reviewer in EVERGREEN-Joint Journal of Novel Carbon Resource Sciences & Green Asia Strategy.
  • Dr.R.Mannivanan- HoD/Mech Published a Book "Design of Transmission System" for Third Year Mechanical Engineering(2017 regulation).
  • Dr.R.Manivannan – HoD/Mech Published 3 Papers in International Journals.
  • S.Prabhakar of Final year Mechanical Published Paper in International journal (IJERT).
  • Skill Development Wing conducted 31 training programs and 386 students benefited in our Mechanical Engineering.
  • Special Lab wing conducted 13 training programs and 170students benefited in our Mechanical Engineering.
  • SPI wing conducted 21 training programs and 276 students benefited in our Mechanical Engineering.
  • 20 Students Presented a paper in International Conference in various Colleges.
  • Seminars on Basic Mechanical Tool and Operations, Welding Training, 2D & 3D Software training, CNC Training, Industrial Drawing Training, Advanced I.C Engines, Electric Vehicle usage and real time issues were given by Mechanical Department Faculties.
  • Photoshop Training, Audio and Video editing, Two wheeler servicing, Mobile & TV Servicing above the life skill training also given by external resource persons for our Mechanical Engineering Students.
  • We have 10 Faculty Trainers and 12 Student Trainers to conduct various training events forour Mechanical Engineering Students.
  • Department of Mechanical Engineering - Special Labs Wing Organized Hackathon on "Simulation for CNC part Programming" on 11/01/2020
  • S.Prabhakar of Final year Mechanical Published Paper in International journal (IJERT).
  • R.Mannivanan- AP/Mech Published a Book "Design of Transmission System" for Third Year Mechanical Engineering(2017 regulation).
  • Mr. R.Jeswin Kumar, Senior Design Engineer, Siko Aerospace & Defence, Bengaluru conducted one day seminar on “How to crack a job in mechanical core industries”
  • Mr. R.Veeraraghavan, Deputy General Manager (Rtd), Ashok Leyland, Hosur conducted a One-day seminar on “Total Quality Management” for all Mechanical students
  • Final year mechanical engineering students conducted the various events like Technical Quiz, Group Discussion on “how to Present and Publish the paper in Conferences for III year mechanical students.
  • One day seminar on “Understanding and Troubleshooting of Hydraulic System and Fuel Pumps” has been conducted for Third Year mechanical engineering students.
  • 163 students participated in Paper Presentations and Workshops at various colleges and Won Prizes
  • 44 Students have undergone Internship Training and In-Plant Training in various industries to gain practical knowledge
  • ARM – 2K20 A National Level Technical Symposium has been conducted in the college premises

INDUSTRIAL VISIT
96 students visited Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Milk Producers Union Ltd-Salem and 162 students visited NTC Institute of Driver Training & Research, Keerambur, Namakkal to enhance their technical knowledge
