The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2010-2011 and the academic year 2014-2015, the Department will offer the M.E. Structural Engineering postgraduate degree program. With the goal of producing exceptional engineers, who can achieve the highest worldwide standards for a sustainable built environment. It uses cutting-edge teaching methods and educational resources. Students are trained in interpersonal skills as well as technical knowledge, which is essential for success in today's fast-paced environment.
In engineering education, civil engineering is given particular consideration. An important factor in the advancement of other engineering specialties is civil engineering. The department provides students with solid technical expertise in civil engineering through theory and practical sessions, all while keeping in mind the demands of the industry. In order to help the students develop as individuals generally, they are also encouraged to engage in extracurricular and co-curricular activities and receive industrial training in advance industries. The department is working hard to attain excellence in all of its civil engineering specializations and hopes to position and train all of its students internationally.
The department is made up of knowledgeable and experienced faculty members. In addition to management, remote sensing, and GIS, their areas of expertise include structural, geotechnical, environmental, water resources, transportation, surveying, and construction engineering. Faculty members publish books and provide papers at national and international conferences, which help to advance academic advancement. The laboratories are furnished with well-equipped instruments.
The students take part in a variety of international certification programs, including green building, which helps them stay competitive on a global scale. The most recent advancements in civil engineering are introduced to students through seminars, workshops, and conferences.
To develop our students into highly skilled, Ethically-driven engineers who can improve the society by imparting knowledge and competence in recent trends in civil engineering.
After going through the four years of study, our Civil Engineering Graduates will exhibit ability to:
