Dr. K.Sundararaju, B.E.,M.E.,Ph.D.,SMIEEE, Professor,Academician, Researcher and Administrator, brings more than 31 years of experience in Engineering Education. He has contributed extensively to academic administration, accreditation , curriculum development for Autonomous, teaching-learning processes, research, faculty development and student development, admissions and overall institutional development.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Life Member of professional bodies including ISTE and FISEEE. He has been actively associated with IEEE student activities and has received several recognitions, including the IEEE Professional Achievement Award, Outstanding Student Branch Counselor Award from USA.
Dr. K. Sundararaju is an active researcher in the areas of Power Systems ,Smart Grid, Renewable Energy , Artificial Intelligence applications, Electric Vehicles, Microgrids and Smart Energy Systems. He has published research papers in reputed SCI/Scopus-indexed international journals and conferences more than 65 publications with an h-index of 11 and has actively contributed to the research and academic community. He has also contributed as a research supervisor in Anna University, reviewer and technical committee member in academic and research activities.
He has successfully obtained research funding for innovative academic and laboratory development initiatives. Notably, he received an AICTE fund strengthening hands-on learning and research capabilities in emerging energy technologies. His research contributions have resulted in patents, research publications and technology-oriented academic initiatives.
As an experienced teacher and academic leader, Dr. K. Sundararaju strongly believes that engineering education should develop not only technical competence but also leadership, communication, innovation, entrepreneurship and professional ethics.
He promotes student-centred learning, experiential education, internships, industry interaction, research and innovation, and co-curricular activities, creating a supportive and disciplined academic environment that builds student confidence, skills and professional responsibility.
