The AVS Engineering College's Women Empowerment Cell engages, educates, and empowers its students to support the cause of gender equality. Under the guiding principle of "Educate and Empower," the cell hosts guest lectures and awareness campaigns on a variety of topics affecting women in order to provide them with a broad range of abilities and knowledge for the benefit of both themselves and society. Additionally, the cell focuses on boosting and enhancing their self-assurance so they can become the future female leaders, technocrats, businesswomen, and scientists. In order to inculcate self-confidence and ethical ideals and help people fulfil their potential, regular seminars on a variety of topics are held.
To engage, educate and empower female students towards creating self-assured and independent future female leaders, technocrats, business women and scientist in a gender equal society.
“Women don’t need to find a voice, they have a voice, and they need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen.”
Women Empowerment Cell organizes seminars, and engagement programs on topics like women's health, safety, literacy, entrepreneurship, and legal rights. Men and women should be made aware of the need to maintain gender equity.
