Start-up Policy

Objective:
To encourage and facilitate entrepreneurial initiatives among students, nurturing their innovative ideas and transforming them into viable and sustainable Startups.
Eligibility:
All students of AVS Engineering College are eligible to participate in EDC activities. However, active involvement in Startup initiatives may involve additional criteria or requirements as specified for programs or events.
Mentorship & Guidance:
EDC will facilitate mentorship programs, connecting students with experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and faculty members to provide guidance and support throughout the startup journey.
Resources & Infrastructure:
EDC will ensure access to necessary resources and infrastructure for students working on startup projects. This includes co-working spaces, laboratories, equipment, and any other facilities deemed essential for the development of entrepreneurial ventures.
Funding Support:
The EDC will explore avenues for securing funding to support promising startup ideas. This may include collaborations with external investors, industry partners, or government initiatives to provide financial support to deserving ventures.
Training and Workshops:
Regular training sessions and workshops will be organized to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of students. These may cover business planning, market research, financial management, and other relevant topics crucial for startup success.
Collaboration and Networking:
EDC will actively seek opportunities for collaboration with industry leaders, other educational institutions, and entrepreneurial ecosystems to broaden students' exposure and networking opportunities.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Regular assessments and evaluations will be conducted to track the progress of Startup initiatives supported by the EDC. This will aid in identifying successful ventures and areas for improvement in the support ecosystem.
Reporting
EDC will provide regular reports to the college administration, highlighting the achievements, challenges, and impact of startup initiatives. This transparency ensures accountability and facilitates continuous improvement.

The Incubation Centre at AVS Engineering College serves as a dynamic hub for nurturing innovation, fostering entrepreneurial ventures, and promoting collaboration among students, faculty, and industry experts.
